تاريخ المركز تأسست المدرسة في شهر ديسمبر عام 1886م على أيدي الآباء المؤسسين، وهم: الإمام كورنغا محمد، والإمام عبد السلام، والإمام يوشع، والإمام موسى، والإمام هارون ألفه أولوكا (رحمهم الله). وقد جاء تأسيسها استجابةً للحرص الشديد على نشر التعليم العربي والإسلامي، ولما كانت تواجهه المنطقة من صعوبة في الحصول على التعليم الغربي، إلى جانب الزيادة المطردة في عدد سكان المجتمع المحلي. وتقع المدرسة في قلب البلدة العريقة أوكي مالي أومادا بمدينة إلورن ولاية كوار، وهي منطقة اشتهرت بكثرة العلماء والمشايخ وطلبة العلم. وكان من أبرز أهداف مؤسسيها تمكين أفراد المجتمع من تعلم تعاليم الإسلام الصحيحة، والعمل بها في شؤون حياتهم اليومية. وقد أُدرجت مبادئ التعليم العربي الإسلامي وتوجيهاته ضمن المنهج الدراسي للمدرسة، كما استُعين بعدد من العلماء المتطوعين للتدريس في المدرسة العربية التقليدية التي كانت تُعرف باسم «إلي كيوو (Ile Kewu)». وكان أبناء المجتمع المحلي أول دفعة التحقت بهذه المدرسة. وعلى مدى عدة عقود، نجحت المدرسة في تخريج أعداد كبيرة من المتخصصين في التعليم العربي، ولم يقتصر أثرها على أبناء المجتمع المحلي فحسب، بل امتد إلى مناطق أخرى خارج المجتمع.
Founded in December, 1886, Raodhotur-Ridoh Arabic & Islamic Training School has been a beacon of traditional Islamic education combined with modern academic standards in Ilorin, Kwara State. The school was established by the founding fathers of Imam Kuranga Muhammad, Imam Abdulsalam, Imam Yushau, Imam Musa and Imam Haroon Alfa Olokas (late). Due to the strive for Arabic education and the difficulties in assessing Western education couple with the increasing timid population in the community. Located in the Heart of the Ancient town of Okemale Omoda Ilorin, where Ulamas and Mallam are so numerous. The desire to acquaint and avail themselves of the teaching and practice of Islam was so paramount in their day to day affairs.
The principle and guidance of Arabic education wa inculcated into the curriculum of the school. Volunteer Mallams were recruited into what was then informal Arabic school known as " Ile kewu". Students from the community were the the first set of pupils in the school. After several decade the school has successfully produce numerous graduates in Arabic Education both within and outside the community.
Located at Omoda Mosque along Alfa Oloka Road, our institution has produced generations of upright scholars, Huffadh (memorizers of Qur'an), and professionals rooted in strong Islamic moral values.
